I have long looked for a really good Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. This one is as good as I have found.
1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
chocolate chips.
Add nuts if you like nuts.
Cream together the butter, shortening and sugar. Mix in eggs, soda, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour and chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
